“This is a good company.” -Ron Swanson
As a Type 1 Diabetic of nearly 30 years, I’ve learned that the pursuit of wellness is evergreen and necessary. Through developing strength, mobility, conditioning, a strong mind, and a light heart I’ve figured out how to manage my condition and thrive, living with zero long-term complications as a result. I founded Mighty Mammal Fitness with the intent of sharing this cultivated determination, knowledge and passion.
As I moved along the path of managing my disease, over time ceaseless experimentation yielded a wealth of knowledge in diverse fields of physical and mental well-being. Traditional strength training, powerlifting, yoga, Cross-Fit, mobility conditioning, Kettlebell Sport, mindfulness meditation, and Shotokan Karate have all had their season in my pursuit of more perfect diabetes management. Throughout this long and expansive journey I have discovered tools that work to empower all of us in our pursuits of better physical, mental and spiritual lives. These tools not only iterate across time with indefinite success but can be absorbed and implemented regardless of one’s background or physical condition equally well. Though I am a Lifelong Type 1 Diabetic and I am incredibly passionate about helping others in similar circumstances, I am simply eager to share my skillset with anyone wanting to make some positive changes. I am primarily a student and consider each interaction a cherished opportunity to learn, therefore the relationship I might hope to cultivate with anyone reading can only be of mutual benefit.
